Tap Handle Spacing Calculator
Use our handy tap handle width calculator to find the maximum width your taps should be so they don't hit each other.
If your tap handles are too wide or your tap facets too close, they can interfere with one another when in use. This can be bad if your taps are going into distribution such as tap houses, restaurants and bars because they will get turned sideways and their visibility goes to nil.Â
To use the calculator, simply enter the following into the calculator:
- Your tap facet spacing. This is the distance between centers on your tap facets.
- The buffer space. This is the desired space between the tap handles themselves. We recomend at least .50 inches.
